Hi Glenn,
Can we do the same for Time, If I enter time it is currently showing 00:00:00
I want to enter just 700 and want system to identify it as 07:00 AM

The answer (as I should have said earlier) is yes - but only sort-of.
If you use custom formatting, your original number is still there 24112016 for today and 813 for the time of writing (08:13) if you use CF of 00\:00 for time.  Fine.  BUT.  You cannot use the numbers for ANY subsequent calculations.  the numbers just LOOK like dates and times to you.  42697 is Excel's way of referring to today (days since 0th Jan 1900) 24112016 is just being coerced to look like something that you recognise as a date.  If you want REAL dates times...  you'll need a formula in an adjacent cell to convert them.

Of course, if its the CURRENT date/time that you're trying to enter:
CTRL and ; will enter the date and CTRL and : will enter the time.
